Grant Review Cycle - Key Dates & Information

Important Dates for GRC Members:
  • October 8, 2025 - January 2, 2026: Online Portal Open for Financial Submission from Nonprofits

  • November 3 - December 14, 2025: Member Sign-up for Financial Review Committee (FRC)

  • January 1 - February 14, 2026: Member Sign-up for Grant Review Committees (GRC)

  • January 3 - February 13, 2026: FRC Review

  • February 14, 2026: FRC Approved Applicants are notified

  • February 14 - March 13, 2026:  Portal Open for Submissions from Approved Applicants

  • March 17, 2026: #1 GRC Meeting - Proposal Reveal & Portal & Training

  • March 24, 2026: #2 GRC Meeting - Initial Proposal Review

  • April 14, 2026: #3 Final Proposal Review

  • April 15, 2026: Nonprofit Semi-Finalists Announced

  • April 23 - 28, 2026: GRC Sight Visits

  • May 5, 2026: #4 Site Visit Review

  • June 2, 2026: Annual Meeting Vote & Awards




Important Information for GRC Members:
  • GRC Chairs/Co-chairs always communicate via email through the portal. Please ensure that you are receiving emails from ici@impactcentralillinois.org. Check the Tech Support page if you aren't receiving emails for some helpful tips on how to make sure our emails get through to you.
  • Meetings always open with a gathering/social time at 5:30pm so that our reviews start promptly at 6pm.
  • Meetings are held at the Peoria NEXT Innovation Center at 801 W Main Street in Peoria, IL.
  • A well-lit parking area is available behind the building off of Main Street. Doors are locked, but ICI members are watching to let you in. 
  • We gather in the Peoria NEXT atrium and then break out into four separate rooms for the review sessions.
  • Virtual links for the meetings are available for those unable to attend in person; look for information from your GRC chairs with details on the meeting links
