ABOUT SPONSORED MEMBERSHIP
In an effort to broaden the perspective at the table of our Grant Review Committees and the organization as a whole, Impact Central Illinois (ICI) offers sponsored membership positions to women that might otherwise not be able to join.
- Sponsored Members are women with varying experience, age, ethnicity, economic, and professional backgrounds.
- Sponsored members offer incredible value to ICI and receive the full benefits of membership.
BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP
- Networking - Events (4) to meet current and prospective members.
- Community Understanding - Participating in the grant selection process offers ICI members the opportunity to review grant applications, ask questions, and visit potential partners to see how our dollars would make a difference. Sitting at the table; learning in detail about the greatest needs in our community; and having input on the specific program and/or project being applied for by the nonprofits is a tremendous learning experience.
- Influence - Having input and a vote on where over $300,000 goes to help better the community.
- Relationships - Developing meaningful relationships built on working alongside other Central Illinois women striving to impact our community positively.
- Waived Fee - The membership fee of $1,100 is fully waived.

SPONSORED MEMBERSHIP PARTICIPATION
- Attend 4 all Member Events
- Town Hall Event (September)
- Luncheon (November)
- Beyond Giving Social & Workshop (March)
- Annual Meeting (June)
- Participate in a Grant Review Committee (GRC) or Finance Review Committee (FRC), including:
- Review & Score the Letters of Intent (LOI)
- Review & Score Grant Applications
- Attend 3 face-to-face review meetings (Jan - April)
- Make a 1 year commitment to ICI.
Note: Unforeseen events may arise that prevent a sponsored member from attending 100% of the above meetings. ICI asks that a good effort to actively participate is made in exchange for being sponsored.
